Sally, Serving Up Lots of Love!
This is Sally. Sally is the keeper of tennis balls at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA). ALL the tennis balls.
A 6-year-old Border Collie/Retriever mix, Sally’s an older girl with a ravishing young spirit! And, again, she LOVES tennis balls! She loves it when you throw them. She loves to run get them. She’ll do anything for a tennis ball! She’s like a Grand Slam champion. Like maybe we should name her “Serena” rather than Sally.
Sally was surrendered to HSNEGA in March. Before being surrendered, Sally was a “shop dog” (a dog the family kept at their place of business) and, when their business came to a close, they didn’t have any room to bring Sally into their home.
I don’t know if she’s housebroken, but I do know she’s sweet and loving. She’s fixed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Sally might appear older, but she’s young at heart and she would love nothing more than to play ball with you at the park or in your own yard. She’d keep you on your toes, she’s loyal and she would give you years of well-deserved adventure.
I don’t know what it is about her that draws me to her, but it’s… something. Maybe it’s her determination, her fighting spirit, or the idea that even when you’re “old” that shouldn’t stop you from doing the things you love.
If you were to visit HSNEGA and see Sally, you’d see plenty of balls in her kennel, the more the merrier because one is never enough! You’d also see the determination and the fire I’m speaking of when you look at her and spend time with her.
She’s easy to walk, easy to please and so very deserving just like the rest of our rescues. Won’t you give a girl like Sally a chance? She’s sure to serve up lots of love in return!
She’s available for adoption and you can visit her at HSENGA’s Adoption Center Tuesday-Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5!

Give with Confidence
At HSNEGA, we want to remember the amazing rescues that come to stay with us. All of the animals pictured on this site have been with us at some point. Some have already found their forever homes, but some may still be here at HSNEGA!
